Installing Inflight Wallboard
Preparation
Before starting the installation, make sure the following preparations are taken on the device that will run the Wallboard:
Note
The local Microsoft Teams client will not collect Presence, Displayname and Photo information of users to pass on to other applications on this p.c. as Skype for Business client did, therefore this information is NOT available to the Inflight Wallboard when used with Teams.
- Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business client is installed;
- Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business client is fully patched
- OS is fully patched
- OS Bit-level (32 or 64 Bit) and Microsoft Teams / Skype for Business (or rather MS Office 365) client Bit-level are the same
- A single version of MS Office installed
- .NET framework 4.6.2 (or a later 4.x series) is installed (Current Windows 10 and Windows 11 comes with .NET framework 4.8 pre-installed)
- A user is logged in
When the above preparations are completed, the installation can be continued.
