AnywhereNow Platform Element End-of-Support Overview

Introduction

AnywhereNow products, features and underlying platform elements are subject to continuous development. Product and functionality changes are driven by both (strategic) decisions and external influences like underlying technology changes, global trends, changing security standards, etc. This also means that sometimes a platform element will reach an end-of-support state. For example, alternatives have come to exist or are on the horizon, the functionality has become integrated in another platform element, or the development effort needed to maintain a platform element does not weigh up to the decline in use of a platform element. For the below listed platform elements the end-of-support state has been reached or is planned.

Definition

End-of-Support (EOS)

End-of-support is defined as a state where the software or product may continue to operate as designed, but manufacturer will not investigate or alter the product to adapt to external or internal changes. The software may continue to work on an existing platform until or beyond that moment, but is subject to a gradual or abrupt termination of functionality. AnywhereNow will no longer respond to any questions or requests about the product, other than suggesting a replacement product or alternative method.
